Møt produsent og eier i Momento Film (S), David Herdies og eier og produsent i Indie Film (N), Carsten Aanonsen. Hvordan arbeider de og hvordan ser deres økonomiske modell ut? Hvordan velger man partnere og prosjekter for holdbare og kvalitative samarbeid? Hvilke forutsetninger finnes for å støtte en struktur som ser framover? I denne samtalen forteller også Klara Grunning, filmkonsulent ved SFI, om de ulike støtteordningene SFI har laget for å gi selskapene slike muligheter.

DAVID HERDIES 

David Herdies is a Swedish producer and the founder of Momento Film (S). Herdies has produced over 20 feature documentaries and shorts that have been screened and awarded at festivals all over the world. He has participated in international producer’s workshops such as EAVE, ACE and Eurodoc. Among his previous films can be mentioned “Madre” by Simón Mesa Soto (Official Short Film Competition, Cannes 2016), “Skörheten” by Ahang Bashi (Guldbagge for Best Newcomer and nomination for Best Feature film 2017), “Ouaga Girls” by Theresa Traore Dahlberg (IDFA 2017 and 50+ festivals), “Winter Buoy” by Frida Kempff (Best International Documentary NIFF, 2015) and “Give us the money” (Peabody award, 2013).

Since 2015 Herdies is developing a fiction department at Momento and has several feature films in development, amongst which can be mentioned “Madame Luna” written by Maurizio Braucci and Suha Arraf, “The Gods” by Ahang Bashi and an adaptation of Johannes Anyuru’s award winning book “De kommer att drunkna i sina Mödrars tårar” directed by Goran Kapetanovic.

CARSTEN AANONSEN 

Carsten Aanonsen har produsert over 200 dokumentarer, reklamefilmer og kortfilmer siden starten på karrieren i 1990. Carsten etablerte i 1998 Indie Film og har EAVE master class fra 2006. i 2004 mottok han røde kors’ humanitære pris for institusjonen. Nyere produksjoner inkluderer ”Munch i helvete” (tba 2018), ”Røverdatter” (hederlig omtale Gøteborg film fest 2018). ”Natta pappa henta oss” (2017). ”Granatmannen” (biff 2016), ”Arctic superstar” (tiff 2016), ”Ida’s dagbok” (idfa 2014), ”Ballettguttene” (idfa 2014), og ”Pushwagner” (amanda beste visuelle effekter haugesund 2012, hot docs 2012).

Co-produksjoner inkluderer Erik Gandinis “The swedish theory of love” (2016), Michael Madsens “The visit” (2015) og Mouka filmi's “The punk syndrome” (2012).

KLARA GRUNNING

Film Commissioner for documentary films at the Swedish Film Institute. Before, she worked five years as Film Commissioner for documentary feature and short films at the Danish Film Institute, where she has supported award winning films like “The visit”, “1989”, “The arms drop”, “Circus dynasty”, “Queen of Versailles”, “Why Poverty?”, “Expedition to the end of the world”, “Sepideh”, AiweiIwei the fake case”, “Mercy Mercy”, “Concerning violence”, “Palme”, “Lost in perfection”, and more. Grunning is also the chairwoman of the Board of Directors for The Why Project, who are responsible for major events like WHY POVERTY? and WHY DEMOCRACY? Grunning has expertise in international co-production, content and editing for distribution and financing, versioning for different market and works closely to customize strategies for all aspects of production.
